During the 2025/2026 winter season, Galerie Droste and The Yurt warmly invite you to experience the works of the artist Willehad Eilers on view at The Yurt in Lech. The exhibition, entitled Das Schöne Leben (The Beautiful Life), will open on 5 December 2025 to mark the start of the season. During the opening weekend, Willehad Eilers will be working in the bar itself, creating new artworks while the bar is open for business — an artist residency, so to speak, in which the creative process becomes part of the presentation and the surroundings a source of inspiration.
A limited artist edition of a porcelain cup, created in collaboration with the Berlin porcelain manufacturer KPM, will be available exclusively on-site.
Willehad Eilers (b. 1981, DE), also known by his pseudonym Wayne Horse, graduated from the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, where he has lived and worked ever since. His works have been exhibited internationally in major museums and institutions and are included in significant collections. He is represented by Galerie Droste, founded in 2016, with locations in Paris, Düsseldorf, and Berlin.
